Travel Balkan is looking for a driven Social Media Manager to grow our social media channels and connect with travelers.in a larger audience.
What does a Social Media Manager do?
Social media managers should have a good understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You will help develop content strategies and post on a daily basis on each channel. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of Travel Balkan in order to increase engagement and awareness.
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Strategize, design, and execute effective social media campaigns
Create content specific to each platform, including infographics and videos
Moderate all user-generated content
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Willingness to appear in videos or provide voice-overs when needed
Copywriting and editing skills, as well as image and video editing skills
Ability to monitor and post to platforms on a daily basis
Knowledge of social media analytics, such as Facebook Insights to track audience engagement and campaign performance is a plus.
