The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project is one of the world’s largest and most innovative investigative reporting organizations. Headquartered in Sarajevo, and with a staff over 140 staff members around the world, our network of independent media centers in over two dozen countries produces ground-breaking cross-border investigative stories.

We are looking for an experienced illustrator to provide services and join our graphics design department and assist us in creating engaging illustrations to accompany our stories. This means cooperating with story editors and journalists, attending briefings, discussing ideas with the graphic designer and delivering finished works before deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

Either BiH citizenship or the right to reside and work in BiH.
Ability to speak English well enough to understand briefings and communicate issues related to assignments.
Ability to complete assigned duties before set deadlines and to keep focus under tight deadlines.
Advanced illustration skills, understanding of colors and ability to draw in perspective.
Advanced human figure drawing, understanding of human anatomy and ability to draw people to resemble real-life public figures
Skills not required but beneficial to have:

Digital painting in Photoshop or Illustrator.
Understanding of vector graphics and how they work.
Understanding of layers and blending modes and how they work.
Full fluency in English.
Honorarium will be based on experience and amount of illustrations required monthly.
