IF YOU ARE A GAME MAKER WANTING TO IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS, DON’T MISS THE PLAYUK FESTIVAL!

PlayUK 2020 will be held between 20 and 26 January in Belgrade. The Festival is a unique opportunity to attend workshops and masterclasses from leading UK indie studios and professionals – free of charge! Develop your skills in narrative, UI / UX design, art, programming and many other fields! Learn about the latest gaming trends in the UK, and meet colleagues from the region!

British Council, Nordeus Hub and SGA (Serbian Games Association) invite game developers, digital artists and creatives from the Western Balkans region (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro) to apply and take part in PlayUK. We will offer up to five places for delegates from each country. In return, we ask for your creativity, ideas, expertise and professional ambition to boost learning atmosphere at our networking and education sessions. We will also welcome up to 5 delegates from Wider Europe and Central Asia region (Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan).

Register and spend a creative week (20 – 25 January) in Belgrade’s Nordeus Hub, we will organize and cover your travel, accommodation and meals. Together, we’ll take your projects to the next level!

PlayUK is the British Council’s platform for supporting creativity in digital art, offering access to new skills and knowledge and creating and strengthening the interaction between art and technology. Creating links between the art and IT sectors and bringing together professionals from the UK and the Western Balkans, PlayUK deals with programming, gaming, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), animation, interactive and narrative design.

Applications for the PlayUK 2020 workshops are open until 18 December 2019, 29.59 CET.
