American Councils for International Education is excited to announce the launch of the American Councils FLEX/YES Internship Program. The program, funded by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and implemented by American Councils for International Education, will offer 24 alumni of the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) or Kennedy-Luger Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program the opportunity to serve an eight-week, part-time, virtual internship and receive a stipend from the program.
We are looking for hosts for our selected interns with organizations and companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina for either the Summer (June 1-September 15) or Fall (September 1-December 15) iteration of the program. American Councils will carefully interview and select a well-qualified intern to work virtually on a project of your design at your place of employment while providing professional development and financial support to the intern. As a host organization, you would be expected to provide instructions and guidance on a project, meet weekly with your intern, and attend a short launch event.
