Topic: JavaScript: The Interesting Parts & The Evolution of ECMAScript Standard
Date: 29/9
Time: 5:30 PM
Place: Symphony Sarajevo (Kolodvorska 11a)
Lecturer: Haris Dervisevic

JavaScript is a cross-platform, object-oriented scripting language, and a small and lightweight language. Since its birth in 1995 JavaScript has gone a long way. Few languages are so clearly worth learning as JavaScript. – It’s an interesting language that doesn’t restrict how you use it. – It’s a language you get paid for developing in. – It’s still cool. – It’s here to stay (for some time, though).

About the lecturer: Haris Dervisevic has majored Electrical Engineer at the University of Sarajevo. He’s been part of the Symphony team for the last three years where he worked on various projects and gained tremendous experience. As a speaker, he often participated in certain internal Symphony sessions.
