Along with Caritas Switzerland, Association for Development LEDA is implementing project PEACH (Preschool Education for all Children). Project is carrying out in Zenica, Zavidovići and Kakanj. The overall Objective of the project is Access to quality preschool education lays a strong foundation for primary education. The Project coordinator will be responsible for program implementation.

What You will Be Doing (Essential Duties)

• Responsible for implementation of interventions related to project goals,
• Conduct regular monitoring of stakeholders included in project ensuring that feedback from all relevant stakeholders is considered throughout the project cycle,
• Ensure a continuous flow of information between the President of the Organization and Donor organization,
• Oversee all operations activities, including finance, human resources, procurement, transport and administration and ensure they follow Organization’s rules, regulations, policies and procedures,
• Supervisor operations staff: Finalize performance plans; conduct performance assessments, provide feedback and coaching. Regularly review progress of projects against program objectives and indicators, and ensure relevant plans are in place to address under-achieved indicators.

Qualifications and experience:

• University degree in relevant field
• Proficiency in conversational English, both written and verbal, is a must
• Recommended a minimum of 1-3 years of working in NGO and at least 2 years of experience in management of projects
• A good understanding of Pre-school Education
• Experience and/or understanding of NGO project cycle management
• Solid project management skills with a proven history of delivering results
• Ability to analyse information and evaluate options
• Ability to prepare reports
• An in-depth understanding of national and international development issues in particular in relation to inclusive education
• Ability to cooperate with various stakeholders in project
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of operation, finance, procurement and human resources
• Ability to provide advice and support
• Ability to contribute to the formulation and monitoring of management projects
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Negotiating skills
• Drivers licence B

Contract length: by end of January 2019 including obligatory probation period with possibility of extension if funding secured.
